You are in Bangkok and want to dine at a restaurant on the 34th floor, with a great city view and a pool ?
You don't want to spend more than you would spend for a budget meal ?
This will work for indiviuals as well as groups:

1) Go to the Waterford Diamond Condominium on Sukhumvit 30/1 (Taxidrivers would know this Condo, it's a high tower)
2) Buy your budget meal plus whiskey, ice, lemon, whatever you need, at the nearby 7eleven or any of the operating foodstalls around there.
3) Pretend to be a resident of the Condo. Don't carry a rucksack, carry plastic bags from 7eleven, Foodland or Tops.
4) Enter the Condo's Lobby and locate the main elevators. The glass door to these elevators is locked with an electronic lock. You don't know the PIN, so simply wait until someone comes out and opens you the door from inside. Smile or grin at him/her.
5) If none shows up there, simply walk over to the help desk and ask them to open the door for your. Security is pretty sloppy, but if any question, just say you been shopping for a friend on the 35th floor, know how to go to his appartment but forgot the room number. They will surely open you the door to the elevators.
6) Inside the main elevator "waiting hall", you'll see two groups of elevators: Low zone and high zone. You want to go to the 34th floor.
7) Exit at the 34th floor. This floor has no windows, so there's a cool breeze blowing. The 360 degree view of Bangkok is amazing and the rumble of the traffic can be heard down beneath. You know yourself that you shouldn't lean too far over the wall...
8) Walk around until you see the pool. There you will also find some chairs and tables.
9) You may want to go for a swim first, then take a shower. Nice restrooms with showers can be found on this same floor.
10) Eventually, you are hungry. Have your meal and spend the rest of the evening drinking with your mates. And put your rubbish in the bin, when you are done.

I haven't done the following, but maybe YOU want to do it:
11) The top floor is under construction (or rather its construction has been halted), also no windows, you can roll out your sleeping-bag up there. For free.
12) No need to go down for breakfast if you have a handphone: Simply order it from Pizza Hut Delivery, they will bring it up !
